ABOUT ME

Inspired by a demonstration of electronic notetaking (ENT) at a parent-teacher meeting at a school for the deaf, I qualified as a manual and electronic notetaker in 2004. I also have related certificates in Deaf Awareness, Deaf/Deafblind Communication and Teaching Manual Notetaking and Teaching Adults in Further Education.

My experience as a freelance London-based ENT spans working in various environments and providing notes in various formats for clients with various disabilities which prevent them from hearing, recalling or writing notes about what is being said.  I have also taken notes for conversion to Minutes many times, taken notes electronically while on the move, while working impartially, to professional standards.  I am a founder member of the Association of Notetaking Professionals promoting notetaking to all stakeholders and service users.
